Your vocation is to build a beautiful life, a life of wholeness and integrity

Sounds good doesn’t it? Your calling as a business owner is to build, then live a beautiful life, a life of wholeness and integrity. Most people go through life wondering what God is calling them to, so you are now way ahead of the game!

On March 19th, I hosted a business leader breakfast in the DTC that featured Monsignor Shea, the president of The University of Mary in Bismarck, ND. He spoke on the Vocation of a Business Leader and did an amazing job encapsulating the struggle we all have between work and leisure and living a divided life that pushes us further from our true calling and from God.

I wanted to share a quote from Monsignor James Shea’s talk with you. He said:

“The Lord created you… with that level of purpose. that you are as important in the fulfillment of your calling .. in your vocation as an archangel in the whole plan of history in the schema of salvation. You are as necessary in your place as an archangel in his.”

God views you and your work on par with Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael and their work.
